ENV 333  Environmental Chemistry

The environment is influenced by and rooted in chemical processes - both natural and human-caused. This course provides a foundation in chemistry that informs our understanding of the environment. It explores how a healthy, functioning environment can be affected by changes in and disruption of natural chemical processes. Topics of discussion range from energy issues and atmospheric alteration, to stream contamination and soil transformation.
