PMT 579 Pastoral and Spiritual Care in Times of Loss, Grief and Bereavement
This course examines types of losses, grief and bereavement process, recovery and transformation. Students learn about making referrals for psychological counseling, ministry to the sick and bereaved and the theology of presence. The course explores grieving, suffering, dying, attitudes on death, renewal across cultures, and Western and Eastern religious traditions. 4 crs.
