Development of listening, singing and improvisation skills in relation to MU 225 materials. Listening skills include recognizing, notating and analyzing longer rhythms, melodies and harmonic progressions that incorporate chromatic elements including secondary dominants. Singing skills include recreating at sight chromatic melodies and harmonic progressions in arpeggiated form. Meets three hours per week. Prerequisites:MU 126 and MU 136. 2 crs.
