The third course in a four-course sequence that develops a skill-set for the understanding, creation and performance of music. This course begins the study of chromatic materials including secondary dominants, modulation, Neapolitan, and augmented-sixth chords. The student will incorporate these elements into short original compositions. Meets three hours per week. Prerequisites:MU 126 and MU 136. 2 crs.
