MU 116  Keyboard Fundamentals

A remedial course that lays the foundation for further functional keyboard studies in the major. The concepts covered in MU 110 will be applied to the keyboard. Skills covered are basic keyboard techniques; reading in treble and bass clefs; scales, intervals, triads and seventh-chords in closed and open positions. Prerequisites: Ability to read music in treble and bass clefs. Notes: Meets the same requirement as the Keyboard Fundamentals Proficiency. 2 crs.
