This course considers health, well-being, health-related problems, changes in appearance, nutrition, exercise, and relationships with partners, family and friends. Students will also consider senior mental health and chemical dependency, looking at life transitions, causes of mental illness, types of mental health problems, dementia, and creative treatment and programmatic approaches, as well as life options that can positively affect older person's health and well-being.
