GER 438  Communication and Aging

This course examinesaging and interpersonal and intrapersonal communication. Explores life transitions in aging and different forms of communication among the aging and their family, service providers, friends, associates and neighbors. Examines electronic and print media depictions of aging and older populations, and how social communication patterns have changed over and been influenced by different generations.
