This course covers the specific functions of human resources such as job design, employee performance evaluations, staffing, compensation/benefits, employee assistance, labor relations, personnel policies and labor law. Topics include tough international competition, advancing technology and workforce diversification. Prerequisites: BM 301 .  5 crs.
